KPNA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein karyopherin subunit alpha 1, which is encoded by the KPNA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to function in nuclear protein import as an adapter protein for nuclear receptor KPNB1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 538 residues, a mass of 60.2 kDa, and is a member of the Importin alpha protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include NPI-1, RCH2, SRP1, importin subunit alpha-5, RAG cohort protein 2, SRP1-beta, importin alpha 5, and IPOA5.
Some KPNA1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
