These BIGH3 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of BIGH3 in biological samples. BIGH3 is an alias of the human TGFBI gene, which encodes the protein, transforming growth factor beta induced. Notably, BIGH3 is known to play a role in angiogenesis and cell adhesion, among other functions. The TGFBI protein is described to be 683 amino acid residues in length and 74.7 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in the corneal epithelium. Other names for this target antigen include CDB1.
Some BIGH3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 4.1 pg/mL and as high as 6000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
