ZDHHC5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 5, which is encoded by the ZDHHC5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported palmitoyltransferase that catalyzes the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates such as CTNND2, CD36, STAT3 and S1PR1 thus plays a role in various biological processes including cell adhesion, fatty acid uptake, bacterial sensing or cardiac functions. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 715 residues, a mass of 77.5 kDa, and is a member of the DHHC palmitoyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally palmitoylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include ZNF375, palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC5, DHHC-5, membrane-associated DHHC5 zinc finger protein, and DHHC5.
There are ZDHHC5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
