These Oprs1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Oprs1 in biological samples. Oprs1 is an alias of the human SIGMAR1 gene, which encodes the protein, sigma non-opioid intracellular receptor 1. Notably, Oprs1 is known to play a role in the metabolism of lipids and nervous system development, among other functions. The SIGMAR1 protein is 223 amino acid residues in length and 25.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be widely expressed with higher expression in liver, colon, prostate, placenta, small intestine, heart and pancreas. Other names for this target antigen include ALS16 and DSMA2.
There are Oprs1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 1.56 ng/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
