KISS1R ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein KISS1 receptor, which is encoded by the KISS1R gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for metastin (kisspeptin-54 or kp-54), a C-terminally amidated peptide of KiSS1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 398 residues, a mass of 42.6 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The KISS1R gene has been associated with the disease, Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism 8 with or without anosmia. Other alias names for this target include G-protein coupled receptor OT7T175, hypogonadotropin-1, kisspeptins receptor, metastin receptor, and G protein-coupled receptor 54.
The detection range for different KISS1R ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
