XG ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Xg glycoprotein (Xg blood group), which is encoded by the XG gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 180 residues, a mass of 19.7 kDa, and is a member of the CD99 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include glycoprotein Xg, Xg blood group (pseudoautosomal boundary-divided on the X chromosome), and PBDX.
There are XG ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
