RBP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein retinol binding protein 2, which is encoded by the RBP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an intracellular transport of retinol. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 134 residues, a mass of 15.7 kDa, and is a member of the Fatty-acid binding protein (FABP) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported be highly expressed in adult small intestine and to a much lesser extent in fetal kidney. Other alias names for this target include CRBP2, CRBPII, RBPC2, CRBP-II, cellular retinol-binding protein II, and CRABP-II.
The detection range for different RBP2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.05 ng/mL and as high as 500 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
