These NAT6 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of NAT6 in biological samples. NAT6 is an alias of the human NAA80 gene, which encodes the protein, N-alpha-acetyltransferase 80, NatH catalytic subunit. The protein is a reported N-alpha-acetyltransferase that specifically mediates the acetylation of the acidic amino terminus of processed forms of beta- and gamma-actin (ACTB and ACTG, respectively). The NAA80 protein is 286 amino acid residues in length and 31.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle, followed by brain and pancreas, with weak expression in kidney, liver, and lung and no expression in placenta. Other names for this target antigen include FUS-2, FUS2, and HsNAAA80. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
