VPS36 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein vacuolar protein sorting 36 homolog, which is encoded by the VPS36 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the ESCRT-II complex (endosomal sorting complex required for transport II), which is required for multivesicular body (MVB) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into MVBs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 386 residues, a mass of 43.8 kDa, and is a member of the VPS36 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include CGI-145, EAP45, vacuolar protein-sorting-associated protein 36, ELL-associated protein of 45 kDa, ESCRT-II complex subunit VPS36, and C13orf9.
Some VPS36 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
