OGFR ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein opioid growth factor receptor, which is encoded by the OGFR gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for opioid growth factor (OGF), also known as Met-enkephalin. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 677 residues, a mass of 73.3 kDa, and is a member of the Opioid growth factor receptor protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in the heart and liver, moderately in skeletal muscle and kidney and to a lesser extent in the brain and pancreas. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include protein 7-60 and zeta-type opioid receptor.
The detection range for different OGFR ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
