These Jagged 2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Jagged 2 in biological samples. Jagged 2 is an alias of the human JAG2 gene, which encodes the protein, jagged canonical Notch ligand 2. Notably, Jagged 2 is known to play a role in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other functions. The JAG2 protein is 1238 amino acid residues in length and 133.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be expressed in heart, placenta and skeletal muscle and to a lesser extent in pancreas. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include HJ2, LGMDR27, and SER2.
Some Jagged 2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
