EDEM2 ELISA Kits

EDEM2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ER degradation enhancing alpha-mannosidase like protein 2, which is encoded by the EDEM2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) pathway that targets misfolded glycoproteins for degradation in an N-glycan-dependent manner. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 578 residues, a mass of 64.8 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 47 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is found to be widely expressed in all tissues tested with slightly higher levels detected in small intestine and peripheral blood leukocytes and weakest levels in the brain and skeletal muscle. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include ER degradation-enhancing alpha-mannosidase-like 2, ER degradation-enhancing-mannosidase-like protein 2, and ER degradation enhancer, mannosidase alpha-like 2.

Some EDEM2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
