ADCY1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein adenylate cyclase 1, which is encoded by the ADCY1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the formation of the signaling molecule cAMP in response to G-protein signaling. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1119 residues, a mass of 123.4 kDa, and is a member of the Adenylyl cyclase class-4/guanylyl cyclase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in zona glomerulosa and zona fasciculata in the adrenal gland. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. The ADCY1 gene has been associated with the disease, Deafness. Other alias names for this target include DFNB44, adenylate cyclase type 1, 3',5'-cyclic AMP synthetase, ATP pyrophosphate-lyase 1, Ca(2+)/calmodulin-activated adenylyl cyclase, and AC1.
Some ADCY1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
