EMILIN2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein elastin microfibril interfacer 2, which is encoded by the EMILIN2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to be responsible for anchoring smooth muscle cells to elastic fibers, and may be involved not only in the formation of the elastic fiber, but also in the processes that regulate vessel assembly. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1053 residues and a mass of 115.7 kDa. It is known to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include elastin microfibril interface-located protein 2 and extracellular glycoprotein EMILIN-2.
There are EMILIN2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 13.7 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
