DBN1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein drebrin 1, which is encoded by the DBN1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in in utero embryonic development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 649 residues and a mass of 71.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the brain, with expression in the molecular layer of the dentate gyrus, stratum pyramidale, and stratum radiatum of the hippocampus. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The DBN1 gene has been associated with the disease, Alzheimer disease. Other alias names for this target include drebrin, developmentally-regulated brain protein, drebrin A, drebrin E, drebrin E2, and D0S117E.
Some DBN1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 2 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
