Functionally, this protein is a known component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 808 residues, a mass of 92.1 kDa, and is a member of the APC4 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include APC4 and cyclosome subunit 4.
