BAMBI ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BMP and activin membrane bound inhibitor, which is encoded by the BAMBI gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell migration and the regulation of cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 260 residues, a mass of 29.1 kDa, and is a member of the BAMBI protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is reported be highly expressed in kidney medulla, placenta and spleen; low in kidney cortex, liver, prostate and gut. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include BMP and activin membrane-bound inhibitor homolog, non-metastatic gene A protein, putative transmembrane protein NMA, and NMA.
Some BAMBI ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 9.375 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
