SAFB ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein scaffold attachment factor B, which is encoded by the SAFB gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to bind to scaffold/matrix attachment region (S/MAR) DNA and forms a molecular assembly point to allow the formation of a 'transcriptosomal' complex (consisting of SR proteins and RNA polymerase II) coupling transcription and RNA processing. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 915 residues and a mass of 102.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally sumoylated. Other alias names for this target include HET, SAB-B1, SAF-B1, SAFB1, scaffold attachment factor B1, and HAP.
There are SAFB ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 5 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
