APOA2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein apolipoprotein A2, which is encoded by the APOA2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to stabilize HDL (high density lipoprotein) structure by its association with lipids, and affect the HDL metabolism. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 100 residues, a mass of 11.2 kDa, and is a member of the Apolipoprotein A2 protein family. It is known to be secreted. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include ApoA-II, apoAII, apolipoprotein A-II, and Apo-AII.
The detection range for different APOA2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 7.8 pg/mL and as high as 300 µg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
