XPNPEP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein X-prolyl aminopeptidase 1, which is encoded by the XPNPEP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported metalloaminopeptidase that catalyzes the removal of a penultimate prolyl residue from the N-termini of peptides, such as Arg-Pro-Pro. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 623 residues, a mass of 69.9 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M24B protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested, including pancreas, heart, muscle, kidney, liver, lung and brain. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include SAMP, XPNPEP, XPNPEPL, XPNPEPL1, xaa-Pro aminopeptidase 1, and APP1.
Some XPNPEP1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
