RACGAP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Rac GTPase activating protein 1, which is encoded by the RACGAP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the centralspindlin complex that serves as a microtubule-dependent and Rho-mediated signaling required for the myosin contractile ring formation during the cell cycle cytokinesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 632 residues and a mass of 71 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in testis, thymus and placenta. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and phosphorylated. The RACGAP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Anemia. Other alias names for this target include CYK4, HsCYK-4, ID-GAP, MgcRacGAP, male germ cell RacGap, protein CYK4 homolog, and CDAN3B.
Some RACGAP1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 8 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
