LPAR2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein lysophosphatidic acid receptor 2, which is encoded by the LPAR2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a mediator of diverse cellular activities. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 348 residues, a mass of 38.7 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is noted to be expressed most abundantly in testes and peripheral blood leukocytes with less expression in pancreas, spleen, thymus and prostate. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include EDG4, LPA-2, LPA2, G protein-coupled receptor, LPA receptor 2, and EDG-4.
The detection range for different LPAR2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
