HS3ST3B1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein heparan sulfate-glucosamine 3-sulfotransferase 3B1, which is encoded by the HS3ST3B1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) to catalyze the transfer of a sulfo group to an N-unsubstituted glucosamine linked to a 2-O-sulfo iduronic acid unit on heparan sulfate. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 390 residues, a mass of 43.3 kDa, and is a member of the Sulfotransferase 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include 3OST3B1, h3-OST-3B, heparan sulfate glucosamine 3-O-sulfotransferase 3B1, heparan sulfate (glucosamine) 3-O-sulfotransferase 3B1, and 3-OST-3B.
