HYAL1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein hyaluronidase 1, which is encoded by the HYAL1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to have a role in promoting tumor progression. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 435 residues, a mass of 48.4 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 56 protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and is secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in the liver, kidney and heart. As many as 7 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The HYAL1 gene has been associated with the disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis. Other alias names for this target include MPS9, NAT6, hyaluronoglucosaminidase 1, luCa-1, lung carcinoma protein 1, and LUCA1.
Some HYAL1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 500 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
