These XPD ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of XPD in biological samples. XPD is an alias of the human ERCC2 gene, which encodes the protein, ERCC excision repair 2, TFIIH core complex helicase subunit. Notably, XPD is known to play a role in pathways of aging and the apoptotic pathway, among other functions. The ERCC2 protein is 760 amino acid residues in length and 86.9 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include COFS2, EM9, and TFIIH.
Some XPD ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
