HPN ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein hepsin, which is encoded by the HPN gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a serine protease that cleaves extracellular substrates, and contributes to the proteolytic processing of growth factors, such as HGF and MST1/HGFL. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 417 residues, a mass of 45 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in liver and kidney. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include serine protease hepsin, testicular tissue protein Li 85, transmembrane protease serine 1, and TMPRSS1.
There are HPN ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
