ZNHIT1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein zinc finger HIT-type containing 1, which is encoded by the ZNHIT1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to play a role in in chromatin remodeling by promoting the incorporation of histone variant H2AZ1/H2AZ into the genome to regulate gene expression. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 154 residues, a mass of 17.5 kDa, and is a member of the ZNHIT1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is noted to be expressed abundantly in liver, but weakly in skeletal muscle, ovary and small intestine. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated.
