EYA2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein EYA transcriptional coactivator and phosphatase 2, which is encoded by the EYA2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to function both as protein phosphatase and as transcriptional coactivator for SIX1, and probably also for SIX2, SIX4 and SIX5. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 538 residues, a mass of 59.2 kDa, and is a member of the EYA protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported be highly expressed in muscle with lower levels in kidney, placenta, pancreas, brain and heart. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include EAB1 and eyes absent homolog 2.
