VEGFD ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein vascular endothelial growth factor D, which is encoded by the VEGFD gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in neuronal differentiation and the regulation of angiogenesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 354 residues, a mass of 40.4 kDa, and is a member of the PDGF/VEGF growth factor protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in the lung, heart, small intestine and fetal lung, and at lower levels in skeletal muscle, colon, and pancreas. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include FIGF and c-fos induced growth factor (vascular endothelial growth factor D).
There are VEGFD ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.312 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
