BRF1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BRF1 RNA polymerase III transcription initiation factor subunit, which is encoded by the BRF1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a general activator of RNA polymerase which utilizes different TFIIIB complexes at structurally distinct promoters. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 677 residues, a mass of 73.8 kDa, and is a member of the TFIIB protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 9 protein isoforms have been reported. The BRF1 gene has been associated with the disease, Cerebellofaciodental syndrome. Other alias names for this target include CFDS, GTF3B, HEL-S-76p, TAF3B2, TAF3C, TAFIII90, TF3B90, and BRF.
The detection range for different BRF1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
