WASHC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein WASH complex subunit 1, which is encoded by the WASHC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as a component of the WASH core complex that functions as a nucleation-promoting factor (NPF) at the surface of endosomes, where it recruits and activates the Arp2/3 complex to induce actin polymerization, playing a key role in the fission of tubules that serve as transport intermediates during endosome sorting. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 465 residues, a mass of 50.3 kDa, and is a member of the WASH1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include FLJ00075 protein, WAS protein family homolog 1, actin nucleation promoting factor, family with sequence similarity 39, member E, and CXYorf1-like protein on chromosome 9.
The detection range for different WASHC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
