ETHE1 ELISA Kits

ETHE1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ETHE1 persulfide dioxygenase, which is encoded by the ETHE1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a sulfur dioxygenase that plays an essential role in hydrogen sulfide catabolism in the mitochondrial matrix. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 254 residues, a mass of 27.9 kDa, and is a member of the Glyoxalase II protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The ETHE1 gene has been associated with the disease, Ethylmalonic encephalopathy. Other alias names for this target include YF13H12, persulfide dioxygenase ETHE1, mitochondrial, ethylmalonic encephalopathy 1, hepatoma subtracted clone one protein, protein ETHE1, mitochondrial, and HSCO.
