CLPTM1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CLPTM1 regulator of GABA type A receptor forward trafficking, which is encoded by the CLPTM1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in GABAergic but not glutamatergic transmission. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 669 residues, a mass of 76.1 kDa, and is a member of the CLPTM1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CLPTM1, transmembrane protein, cleft lip and palate associated transmembrane protein 1, cleft lip and palate transmembrane protein 1, and putative lipid scramblase CLPTM1.
Some CLPTM1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
