C9 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein complement C9, which is encoded by the C9 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in protein oligomerization. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 559 residues, a mass of 63.2 kDa, and is a member of the Complement C6/C7/C8/C9 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is notably expressed in plasma. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. The C9 gene has been associated with the disease, Complement component 9 deficiency. Other alias names for this target include C9D, complement component C9, complement component 9, and ARMD15.
The detection range for different C9 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 10.97 pg/mL and as high as 2000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
