LGI4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein leucine rich repeat LGI family member 4, which is encoded by the LGI4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a component of Schwann cell signaling pathway(s) that controls axon segregation and myelin formation (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 537 residues and a mass of 59.1 kDa. It is known to be secreted and is found to be widely expressed, with highest expression in the brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The LGI4 gene has been associated with the disease, Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. Other alias names for this target include leucine-rich glioma-inactivated gene 4, leucine-rich glioma-inactivated protein 4, and LGI1-like protein 3.
There are LGI4 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.1 ng/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
