LYST ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein lysosomal trafficking regulator, which is encoded by the LYST gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported adaptor protein that regulates and/or fission of intracellular vesicles such as lysosomes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 3801 residues and a mass of 429.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is found to be highly expressed in adult and fetal thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, bone marrow and several regions of the adult brain. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The LYST gene has been associated with the disease, Chediak-Higashi syndrome. Other alias names for this target include CHS1, Mauve, Chediak-Higashi syndrome 1, beige homolog, and CHS.
The detection range for different lyst ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
