JAML ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein junction adhesion molecule like, which is encoded by the JAML gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transmembrane protein of the plasma membrane of leukocytes that control their migration and activation through interaction with CXADR, a plasma membrane receptor found on adjacent epithelial and endothelial cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 394 residues, a mass of 44.3 kDa, and is a member of the Immunoglobulin protein superfamily. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include adhesion molecule AMICA, adhesion molecule interacting with CXADR antigen 1, adhesion molecule, interacts with CXADR antigen 1, and junctional adhesion molecule-like.
Some JAML ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 150 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
