UQCRQ ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex III subunit VII, which is encoded by the UQCRQ gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase, a multisubunit transmembrane complex that is part of the mitochondrial electron transport chain which drives oxidative phosphorylation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 82 residues, a mass of 9.9 kDa, and is a member of the UQCRQ/QCR8 protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria. The UQCRQ gene has been associated with the disease, Mitochondrial complex III deficiency. Other alias names for this target include QCR8, QP-C, QPC, UQCR7, cytochrome b-c1 complex subunit 8, and MC3DN4.
The detection range for different UQCRQ ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
