OR1D2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily D member 2, which is encoded by the OR1D2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an odorant receptor, which may be involved in sperm chemotaxis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 312 residues, a mass of 35.2 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in testis. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated.
