KLK5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein kallikrein related peptidase 5, which is encoded by the KLK5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in desquamation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 293 residues, a mass of 32 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in skin, breast, brain and testis. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include KLKL2, SCTE, kallikrein-5, kallikrein-like protein 2, stratum corneum tryptic enzyme, and KLK-L2.
There are KLK5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 7.81 pg/mL and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
