B3GALT2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase 2, which is encoded by the B3GALT2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported Beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase that transfers galactose from UDP-galactose to substrates with a terminal beta-N-acetylglucosamine (beta-GlcNAc) residue. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 422 residues, a mass of 49.2 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 31 protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is notably expressed in heart and brain. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include GLCT2, beta3Gal-T2, UDP-Gal:betaGlcNAc beta 1,3-galactosyltransferase, polypeptide 2, UDP-galactose:2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucose 3beta-galactosyltransferase 2, beta-1,3-GalTase 2, and BETA3GALT2.
There are B3GALT2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
