ERVW-1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein endogenous retrovirus group W member 1, envelope, which is encoded by the ERVW-1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the morphogenesis of anatomical structure. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 538 residues, a mass of 59.9 kDa, and is a member of the Gamma type-C retroviral envelope protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is noted to be expressed at higher level in placental syncytiotrophoblast. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include ENVW, ERVWE1, HERV-7q, HERV-W-ENV, HERV7Q, HERVW, HERVWENV, and ENV.
There are ERVW-1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
