KDM4A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein lysine demethylase 4A, which is encoded by the KDM4A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a histone demethylase that specifically demethylates 'Lys-9' and 'Lys-36' residues of histone H3, thereby playing a central role in histone code. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1064 residues, a mass of 120.7 kDa, and is a member of the JHDM3 histone demethylase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include JMJD2, JMJD2A, TDRD14A, lysine-specific demethylase 4A, and JHDM3A.
The detection range for different KDM4A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
