BLOC1S3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein biogenesis of lysosomal organelles complex 1 subunit 3, which is encoded by the BLOC1S3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the BLOC-1 complex, a complex that is required for normal biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles (LRO), such as platelet dense granules and melanosomes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 202 residues, a mass of 21.3 kDa, and is a member of the BLOC1S3 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. The BLOC1S3 gene has been associated with the disease, Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome. Other alias names for this target include BLOC-1 subunit 3, biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex-1, subunit 3, reduced pigmentation, mouse, homolog of, and biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex 1 subunit 3.
Some BLOC1S3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
