KPNA4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein karyopherin subunit alpha 4, which is encoded by the KPNA4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to function in nuclear protein import as an adapter protein for nuclear receptor KPNB1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 521 residues, a mass of 57.9 kDa, and is a member of the Importin alpha protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in testis, ovary, small intestine, heart, skeletal muscle, lung and pancreas, but barely detectable in kidney, thymus, colon and peripheral blood leukocytes. Other alias names for this target include QIP1, SRP3, importin subunit alpha-3, importin alpha Q1, importin subunit alpha-4, and IPOA3.
Some KPNA4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
