These EFTU ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of EFTU in biological samples. EFTU is an alias of the human TUFM gene, which encodes the protein, Tu translation elongation factor, mitochondrial. The protein is reported to promote the GTP-dependent binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to the A-site of ribosomes during protein biosynthesis. The TUFM protein is described to be 455 amino acid residues in length and 49.9 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include COXPD4 and EF-TuMT.
Some EFTU ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
