KIR2DS4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein killer cell immunoglobulin like receptor, two Ig domains and short cytoplasmic tail 4, which is encoded by the KIR2DS4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 304 residues, a mass of 33.6 kDa, and is a member of the Immunoglobulin protein superfamily. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include KIR1D, KIR412, KKA3, NKAT-8, NKAT8, and CD158I.
