LYN ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein LYN proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase, which is encoded by the LYN gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and dendritic cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 512 residues, a mass of 58.6 kDa, and is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, golgi, and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in monocytes. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include p53Lyn, p56Lyn, tyrosine-protein kinase Lyn, lck/Yes-related novel protein tyrosine kinase, v-yes-1 Yamaguchi sarcoma viral related oncogene homolog, and JTK8.
Some LYN ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
