These VEGFR1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of VEGFR1 in biological samples. VEGFR1 is an alias of the human FLT1 gene, which encodes the protein, fms related receptor tyrosine kinase 1. Notably, VEGFR1 is known to play a role in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other functions. The FLT1 protein is 1338 amino acid residues in length and 150.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 8 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in normal lung, but also in placenta, liver, kidney, heart and brain tissues. This protein is known to be N-glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include FLT.
The detection range for different VEGFR1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.5 ng/L and as high as 400 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
