These GLUT1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of GLUT1 in biological samples. GLUT1 is an alias of the human SLC2A1 gene, which encodes the protein, solute carrier family 2 member 1. Notably, GLUT1 is known to play a role in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and nervous system development, among other functions. The SLC2A1 protein is described to be 492 amino acid residues in length and 54.1 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in erythrocytes. This protein is known to be phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include CSE, DYT17, and DYT18.
Some GLUT1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 156 pg/mL and as high as 80 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
